About "The Journey Home."

A writer at work.

First and foremost, this blog is written for God, to share the biblical truths that He is showing me and the life lessons that He is teaching me. It is my prayer that the words that I share on here will be an encouragement and inspiration to all who reads them, and that God may use my blog to share His love and message to others.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 28: 19

Another reason that I created this blog is because I am an aspring writer whose dream is to be a novelist. I feel that writing regularly will be a good way for me to improve my writing, to hone the skill that God has given me. It is my belief that God gives us talents and passions for a reason and calls us to use them for His glory and that is exactly what I am trying to do with my blog.

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not men.

Colossians 3: 23

As for the name of the blog…the journey home, that is inspired by John 14:3 (the verse below it.) The idea of this is that our lives are like journeys and as a Christian, I know that the destination of my life journey will be heaven…my eternal home.

Most assuredly, I say unto you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.

John 5: 24
