Meet Elizabeth

For Elizabeth, there is always a story. As an artist, she strives to bring that story to the world, whether it is through written word, theatre, or song. Since 2010, she has brought her stories to life in words, here on her corner of the Internet. She’s a lover of Jesus Christ, people, good books, and hot tea. She believes imperfect sentences and strange grammar make good writing. In everything, Elizabeth is committed to offering justice, finding beauty, and loving the world.

  1. OMGosh!! We r soooooo alike it’s insane!! i love shakespeare! I love books! I want to write books! I want to do technical theatre (lights and spotlights)! I want to learn Norwegian, German, and Italian! I already write French well, but I can’t speak it! I want to be home schooled, and I will home school my children when I have them. I can’t wait to be a mother (although I want to be at least 25-30 before I have any) and I want to help the world to be a better place!
But most important, I’m a christian and I love my God! xx

  2. Hi Elizabeth, I found your blog by googling for Christian blogs:) And I am glad to have found your blog. I have read your testimony and about page, and I am really blessed. Continue to be a blessing that you already are… God bless:)

  3. DUDE! We have a few things in common! I’m a theater person too. LOVE ACTING and LOVE THE STAGE. I love singing too. I am thinking about majoring or minoring in it eventually.

  4. Hi Elizabeth! My name is Sierra and I found your blog after it was recommended by Brandy on her blog, so I thought I would check it out. I am so happy that I did! I am so encouraged to know that there is another girl out there who is blogging about what God is doing in her life! Keep up the good work! 🙂 Just in case you wanna take a peek, my blog is called Anchored Soul and it is basically a journal about what God has been showing me through His Word. I hope that it encourages you like your blog did me. 🙂

    • Hi Sierra,

Thanks for stopping by! Your comments mean so much to me. 🙂 I will be sure to check out your blog as well, when I have the time.

      God bless,

  5. Thank you so much for your honesty. I was deeply moved. Please don’t stop blogging. It is important that you keep it up, following the advice of Shakespeare to “unpack my heart with words.” I wish I could help you. I have been in your place and I know what you are feeling….somewhat anyway…I don’t think we can ever KNOW what someone else is feeling. But you must keep on doing this. There is a verse in Job….can’t be more specific…but the writer declares, “My heart is full of words. It is like a full wineskin, about to burst.” Yes, it will often feel like you are “about to burst” but the Grace of God will sustain you and though you may “burst”, it will be a “burst” into the fullness of life.

    • Wow, thank you SO MUCH for your comment! That was extremely encouraging to me, at a time which I just feel like giving up so much of what is written here. And I love the two quotes. Shakespeare is one of my favourites and I’ve been reading Job recently. I feel like him. That verse is great! What you said about the burst is so beauitful and true as well. Very, very encouraging! Your words came at the right time! Thank you!
